These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all purchases made through biglightletters.com and any orders placed directly with Big Light Letters LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

1. About Us

Big Light Letters LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company supplying wholesale freestanding steel marquee letters and numbers to schools, universities, and businesses across the United States.

2. Orders & Payment

  • All orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to confirm production. The remaining balance is due in full prior to shipment.

  • Production begins upon receipt of cleared deposit funds. No work commences prior to this.

  • All prices are in USD. Your confirmed written quote locks in your price for 30 days from the date of issue.

  • We accept payment by ACH bank transfer and major credit cards.

  • Invoices not paid by the due date may result in your order being placed on hold. We are not liable for any resulting production delays.

  • We reserve the right to cancel an order and retain the deposit if the balance is not paid within 14 days of the due date.

3. Production & Lead Times

  • Our products are custom manufactured to order. The estimated lead time is approximately 4 months from order confirmation and receipt of deposit to delivery.

  • Lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to manufacturing delays, freight carrier delays, customs clearance, weather events, port congestion, or supply chain disruption.

  • We will notify you promptly of any significant delays and provide a revised estimated delivery date where possible.

  • You may not cancel an order or withhold payment due to a delay unless the delay exceeds 6 months from the original estimated delivery date.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship USA-wide. Freight costs are calculated based on order size, weight, and destination and will be itemised in your quote.

  • Risk of loss and title passes to you upon handover of goods to the freight carrier. From that point, the carrier is responsible for safe delivery.

  • We strongly recommend you arrange appropriate transit insurance for your order. We can assist with this on request.

  • Upon delivery, you must inspect all items immediately. Any visible damage to packaging or goods must be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt at the time of delivery and photographed.

  • If items are damaged in transit, you must notify us and the carrier in writing within 48 hours of delivery, with photographic evidence of the damage and packaging. Claims reported outside this window cannot be guaranteed to be resolved.

  • We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses provided by you.

  • Redelivery fees resulting from failed delivery attempts due to your unavailability are your responsibility.

5. Returns & Refunds

Our products are custom manufactured to your specifications and cannot be resold. As such, our returns policy is as follows:

  • Change of mind: We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind under any circumstances.

  • Manufacturing defects: If a product arrives with a defect caused by our manufacturing process, you must notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery with clear photographic evidence. We will assess the claim and, at our sole discretion, repair, replace, or provide a partial credit. We do not offer cash refunds for manufacturing defects.

  • Used, modified, or altered products: We do not accept returns for any product that has been used, installed, modified, or damaged after delivery.

  • Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable once production has commenced, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

  • Order cancellations: If you cancel an order after production has commenced, the deposit is forfeited. If the balance has been paid and cancellation is requested before shipment, a partial refund may be considered at our sole discretion, less all costs incurred to that point.

6. Product Use & Safety

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Our letters are designed for use with a standard US electrical outlet (110V / 60Hz). It is your responsibility to ensure correct voltage compatibility before use.

  • Products are designed for freestanding use on stable, level surfaces only. Do not hang, suspend, stack, or permanently mount letters to walls, ceilings, or structures without written confirmation from us that the product is suitable for that application.

  • Letters are water resistant but not fully waterproof. In the event of heavy rain, severe weather, or flooding risk, letters must be moved indoors immediately.

  • Letters must not be left unattended outdoors in adverse weather conditions including high winds, rain, or extreme temperatures.

  • Products must not be modified, rewired, or altered in any way. Any modification voids all warranties and transfers full liability to you.

  • You are solely responsible for safe setup, operation, supervision, and storage of the product once delivered.

  • You agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations in connection with the use of our products at events or installations.

  • We are not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss arising from improper use, setup, modification, or storage of our products.

7. Electrical Safety & Compliance

Our products are manufactured with low-voltage LED lighting systems. It is your sole responsibility to determine whether our products meet the electrical compliance requirements applicable in your state, county, or jurisdiction, and for the specific venue or application, prior to placing your order. We make no warranty that our products comply with any specific state or local electrical code. If you have compliance requirements, notify us in writing before placing your order and we will advise accordingly.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to your purchase shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business, loss of use, loss of data, or reputational damage, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on estimated lead times or delivery dates.

  • We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage caused by third party freight carriers, customs authorities, or other parties outside our direct control.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable federal or state consumer protection law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Big Light Letters LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use, misuse, or improper setup of our products

  • Your breach of these Terms

  • Any claim by a third party arising from an event or installation at which our products were used

  • Any modification or alteration of our products by you or a third party

10. Intellectual Property

All content on biglightletters.com, including but not limited to images, text, video, logos, and branding, is owned by or licensed to Big Light Letters LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without prior written permission.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

  • In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution in good faith through direct written communication for a period of 30 days.

  • If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Sheridan, Wyoming, under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. Each party shall bear its own legal costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

  • Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek urgent injunctive or equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction without first submitting to arbitration.

  • Class action waiver: You agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis and you waive any right to bring or participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

12. Force Majeure

We are not in breach of these Terms and shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorism, government action, freight carrier failure, port closures, supply chain disruption, or power outages. We will notify you promptly and resume performance as soon as reasonably practicable.

13. Entire Agreement & Severability

These Terms, together with your confirmed quote, constitute the entire agreement between you and Big Light Letters LLC in relation to your purchase and supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised date and take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued purchase of our products after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Third party services
Our website is hosted by Wix. Their privacy policy governs data collected through their platform. We use Google Analytics for basic website traffic analysis. We do not control how these third parties handle data.
